    Good quality dimming glass has excellent transmittance when electrified, clear and transparent, beautiful appearance, and transparent and opaque when power is off, which can protect privacy very well. Simple test method: put the palm on the back of the glass. When the power is off, look at the back of the palm from the front. Although the blurred background can be seen, the fingerprints of the palm must not be seen. Or an object can be placed 3 cm from the front glass. The transmittance of good quality dimming glass should be about 75%.

    B. For non-indoor dimming glass used in bathroom, bathroom partition and exterior and interior curtain walls, doors and windows, the operator should ask whether the intermediate film of dimming glass is EVA or PVB. PVB (polyvinyl butyral) has been used as interlayer for more than 30 years. The polyvinyl alcohol segment in PVB has strong water solubility and is sensitive to humidity. Moreover, the use of PVB requires more energy, and the cost increases accordingly. The products processed by PVB have high fogginess, generally over 10% fogginess and less than 70% transmittance. In addition, the specific chemical structure of PVB determines that it has poor tolerance to acetic acid, alcohols and ketones, and can even be dissolved or softened so as to lose the bonding force. It is easy to cause the problems of ungluing and degumming in the construction process. EVA (polyethylene-vinyl acetate) as interlayer can avoid the above problems, and has better transmittance. Therefore, it has been gradually replaced by PVB interlayer worldwide. However, the use of EVA film as intermediate film and dimming glass is not recommended for curtain wall glass and sandwich glass for outdoor applications. There are few cases of dimming glass used for outdoor projects in the international and domestic markets.
     
    C. Consumers can choose to use the corresponding glass panels according to the functional requirements of the glass in the application field. Generally speaking, dimming glass has higher requirements for the original glass, so automobile-grade float glass is chosen as the base material of dimming glass. Generally speaking, most manufacturers or new manufacturers would recommend toughened glass as the base material of dimming glass, but the transparency and flatness of toughened glass are inferior to float glass. Because of the different tensile force, it will lead to the phenomenon of ungluing and degluing of dimming glass.
     
    D. Dimming glass in the installation of the choice of circumstances, should choose a professional installation team of manufacturers to install, for the need to hang installation, try to avoid drilling holes, because drilling on the dimming glass, will change the order of molecules in the liquid crystal film, resulting in burning dimming glass in the use process. Domestic manufacturers have mastered advanced frameless suspension hoisting method, which effectively solved the problem of drilling in the installation of dimmer glass suspension.
